On March 3rd, 2o11 we had a fine day in Lake Tahoe. Plenty of new snow, no one out, and your choice of lines to ski. There just weren’t enough people around to compete. You could even “save stuff for later” which is truly a misnomer at Squaw Valley, but it worked on this day.
