My buddy Aaron Blatt and Yale Cousino arrived in Portland a few days back right before this storm system hit the west coast with large amounts of precipitation and super cold temps. We made the call to head up to Hood to check out some boarding and see if we could shoot. When we arrived on Sunday, it was dumping and there was a lot of snow in town. We met up with my other buddy Kris who knows the area well, so we hit the woods for a session and then got a late night session in town. The next morning, we woke up to another fresh foot of snow. We were stoked to check out another zone up near Ski Bowl. It was soooo deep in spots, we were walking in waist deep and sometimes even deeper. It snowed another couple feet on Monday. The entire west coast is getting hammered and it was great to be back on the board with good friends!
